Project Leader - Strategic Designer

As a Project Leader - Strategic Designer at Scope, you work on complex spatial challenges at the intersection of urban planning, architecture, and strategy. You lead and coordinate projects in the fields of real estate strategies, master plans, structural visions, and site analyses, with design research and strategic vision development at the core. With your analytical skills, you develop strategic spatial visions and translate them into concrete design proposals.

In addition, you are responsible for planning, communication, and progress monitoring of projects. You work closely with various stakeholders, such as clients, government agencies, and consultancy firms, and are able to effectively translate their interests and insights into widely supported solutions. With your project management skills, you ensure the smooth execution of multiple spatial dossiers simultaneously. Finally, you actively contribute to the further development of Scope as a knowledge and innovation partner in the spatial sector, by strengthening our market position and deepening research themes.

Our home base is a recently renovated monumental building in Rotterdam-West, where we work in an open and informal atmosphere in which everyone can be themselves. What you bring

• A completed education in construction, architecture, urban planning, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a coordinating role or a role with management responsibility.
• Experience with project management and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills in spatial issues.
• Experience with design research and strategic area development.
• Proficiency in drawing programs and the Adobe Suite is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• You speak and write fluent Dutch.
